The hostel fees at Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai may vary depending on the type of room and the specific hostel. However, as of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021, the hostel fees for the academic year 2021-2022 were as follows:
For undergraduate students:
- Twin sharing room: Rs. 1,40,000 per year (including mess charges)
- Triple sharing room: Rs. 1,20,000 per year (including mess charges)
For postgraduate students:
- Twin sharing room: Rs. 1,60,000 per year (including mess charges)

The faculty members are very good and intelligent. They behave like a friend and the teaching process is also good. Many of the faculty member is Ph.D. holder. All are good in their perspective.

Yes, you can get direct admission through management quota. The students interested to take admission under such quota (as prescribed by the Regulatory Authorities) should directly apply to the Institute or contact the principal. No Capitation Fee / Donation whatsoever is charged by the Institute to the Parent / Student for admission to the courses offered by the Institute and the admission of the students in the Institute are purely based on merit.

This college has separate mess and hostel charges, the mess is not compulsory. The hostel charges are up to 40000 per year and 5000 deposit. Every year this fee is increasing and in last year it is 50000. The mess charges are 3600 per month or 18000 for six months.

According to the placement reports of the institute, the highest package offered to the CSE students in the year 2021 was around 44 LPA (Indian Rupees) offered by Microsoft. In the same year, the average package offered to the CSE students was around 18 LPA.
