K.M. Shah Dental College and Hospital does not offer an MBA, but only an MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) in various dental disciplines.

DY Patil Deemed to be University offers a more comprehensive and affordable MBA programme than K.M. Shah Dental College and Hospital. However, you should also consider your own interests, goals, and preferences before making a decision.

It is a very good college for students to have a good career. Placements: 60-80% of students got internships. The highest package is more than 25 lacs per annum, and the average package is 2 to 3 lacs per annum. 70% of students got placed in my course.

2023 stats:

The the highest and average package offered during Mumbai University’s Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies MMS and MSc Finance placements 2023 stood at INR 9.75 LPA and INR 5.33 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 113 companies visited the campus during Mumbai University MMS and MSc Finance placements 2023.

Further, according to University of Mumbai NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during Mumbai University UG 3-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 stood at INR 4.5 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. Apart from this, the placement rate recorded during Mumbai University UG 3-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 was 70% and 85%,  respectively.

It is difficult to objectively state that ITM Institute of Design and Media (IDM), Andheri West is the 'best' design institute in Mumbai. However, here is an evaluation of ITM-IDM based on certain parameters:

1. Programs Offered: ITM-IDM offers a diverse set of UG and PG level design programs including B.Des, M.Des, Integrated Program in Design, Design Specialisation courses etc. This provides students a good range of study options.

2. Faculty and Facilities: The institute has credentialed faculty from leading design schools. The campus is equipped with design studios, labs, auditoriums and other amenities. However, it is relatively smaller compared to bigger design institutes.  

3. Industry Exposure: ITM-IDM has extensive industry collaborations which offers good internship and placement opportunities to students during and after the program.

4. ROI and Cost: In terms of fees and placements, ITM-IDM offers a reasonably good return-on-investment compared to education quality. But fees are higher compared to government design institutes.

In summary - While ITM-IDM is considered amongst the leading private design schools in Mumbai and offers quality design education, it faces tough competition from the likes of DSK Supinfocom, Rachana Sansad and more established government institutes like IDC IIT Bombay, DJSCE in certain parameters. An objective comparison across all such institutes is difficult to benchmark it as 'the best'.
