No, as per official sources, the admission criteria designed by MDSU Ajmer for the BCom course is not entrance-based. As per admission criteria, students looking to enrol into the course do not need to appear for any entrance exam. Those who are willing to get admission are required to just fulfil the eligibility conditions and submit an application form.

The admission process for majority of the courses at MDSU are merit-based. However, candidates wishing to apply to B.Ed or MEd are required to go through an entrance-based admission process. Candidates are judged over their performance in entrance exams such as PTET. 
Candidates who meet the entrance cutoff are invited for further admission rounds. 

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form. The admission form can be filled out online through MDSU website (mdsuajmer.ac.in). Candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 300 to submit the application successfully. Moreover, the university admit students based on merit in the last qualifying examination.
