Hello Abhinav,
Manipal Institute of Technology is a Deemed to be university and conducts its own entrance exam for giving admission to different engineering courses that are conducted by it. On the other hand IIAE is a very typical Institute. It claims to run course of which two years of studies are in India while the last two years for studies are in an institution or university abroad with which it has tie up. Before taking admission try to find out from as many people as possible the position and then take an informed decision. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shahrukh,
For getting entry into any Bachelor of engineering course in Manipal Institute of Technology, one needs to pass an entrance exam conducted by this Deemed to be university called Manipal entrance exam. The eligibility is for the student to be an Indian national and having passed 12th with physics mathematics and English as the compulsory subjects along with anyone additional subject with 50% of marks. Course fee for B.Tech automobile is 15,40,000.
Fees is subject to change without notice. The fees at the time of admission is the actual fees payable. Disputes, if any, will be redressed under the University rules and regulations.
*In addition to the above fees candidates have to pay refundable caution deposit of Rs 10,000/-(Indian) USD 200 (International)along with the first installment fees.

Yes, the placements in the college grow up to high percentages. The college have a very good placement officer. Last year, approximately 500 students were placed.

Placements in aeronautical engineering branch in best of the times are also not very good. In a larger perspective, this ultimately depends on the industrial and economic climate of the countries. Presently in India, the core jobs of Aeronautical Engineering graduates are perhaps available only in ISTO or DRDO or to some extent with the armed forces. The aerospace industry in India has not yet developed to an extent where it can absorb all those who are passing out from this branch.
