According to unofficial online sources, a large share of the Central Agricultural University Manipur alumni is placed in the Research sector with a 24% share. The official placement data for the 2023 or 2022 drive is not out yet. Once the University announces the record, it will be updated here. The most recent statistics available on the official website are for the 2019-2020 academic year. As per the report, around 90 students from various affiliated colleges were placed during the 2020 recruitment drive. The students acquired job roles in various Agricultural, Fishery, and Veterinary Science domains such as Fishery Inspector, ARS Scientist, Assistant Professor, Veterinary Officer, Trainee Engineer (Quality Department), etc.

The students are advised to attend the lectures regularly and also Extra Academic Activities (NCC, NSS, NSO including camps and other pre-publicised programmes) for which they have been registered.

A student will not be allowed to appear for the examination if his/her attendance is less than 75% and also they will not be awarded certificates for the Extra Academic Activities.
