CSAB Counselling Dates 2026: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will release the CSAB 2026 counselling schedule at csab.nic.in. The CSAB counselling registration will start in June 2026, tentatively. There will be three types of CSAB counselling process: CSAB special counselling, CSAB NEUT counselling and the CSAB Supernumerary counselling. CSAB Counselling 2026 Registration Date
The CSAB counselling application form for all rounds - special, NEUT and Supernumerary is released online only. The application forms for all these rounds are released separately, and their deadlines vary. All eligible candidates must register online through the CSAB portal at csab.nic.in according with the provided schedule.
The CSAB 2026 application process includes logging in using the application number and password of JEE Main 2026. After that, the steps in the application process differ depending on the type of counselling. There is no registration fee for any CSAB counselling rounds, but the fees must be paid after registration and seat allotment, as provided in the CSAB counselling brochure.
After CSAB counselling 2025 registration is complete, candidates must submit their choice of engineering branches and institutions in decreasing order of preference.

It is not mandatory to appear for CSAB counselling. Candidates who already got seats in JoSAA counselling or in any state engineering colleges are not required to appear for CSAB counselling. The authorities conduct CSAB counselling for the left over seats after JoSAA counselling.
