Life condition onboard are little bit tough like climatic conditions some time you may not be able to contact your home for a couple of weeks due to various scenarios onboard ship. It is a branch of engineering that deals with technical aspect of ships. This particular subject is named so because of the researches conducted in the oceans, coastal regions or inland waters connected to the sea. Marine engineers are responsible for the ships technical management. They select the machinery of the ship like its diesel engines and steam turbines and gas turbines.
