Print Media can be described as the longest life span medium for Mass Comm. It has been ever present since the early men learned to write. Its usefulness can not be disputed even today. Print Media introduced during Industrial Revolution gave a boom to Mass Comm. Cheap prices and availability boosted its sales and made it the universal medium for news. You are asking this from the Head of Amity Communication school. My answer will be off course yes. But, I would like to say that yes our curriculum is industry oriented. We provide good exposure and training. We have good and well trained faculty members from Academia and Industry back ground. We also organizes expert talks, seminars and work shops so that our student should get quality and Industry ready training.

Students are getting good placements and pay packages are in several range. Print and Electronic Media houses, PR companies, Event management companies, Corporates are hiring journalism and mass communications students in good number.

Possibly, yes. I usually suggest pursuing Mass Communication from JMI. But not everyone can make it into JMI. Hence, they look for other colleges. You can read reviews on Shiksha's website about the college.
