To start a career in films and media is very broad based and vast. Students need to be very clear about film and media as a line of work. It is not all glittery, bright and glamor. It involve hard work, both mentally and physically, with long hours, often in uncomfortable locations. This means that you have be clear and open about the fact that skill and job need to be done. Both the institutes are good in their own ways. But considering your choice, Journalism, I would suggest AAFT. They have BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, which is more journalism centric.
Whereas the course SXCKOL offers is mass communication-centric and journalism, as you know, is a part of mass communication.
I would suggest you visit the websites of the institues and look at the syllabus. Then you decide.
All the best.
