The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Commom University Entrance Test (CUET) for both undergraduate and post graduate level. Candidates who qualify in the CUET PG exam will be shortlisted for the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Delhi for counselling. After the counselling is over, they will be alloted the courses.

3 months is not sufficient, but, with efficient planning candidates can score well in entrance examination of Indian Institute of Mass Communication. To prepare for IIMC Entrance Exam students have to study regularly and understand all important topics. Candidates must give special focus on solving previous year question papers and practice sample papers on a daily basis.

The IIMC entrance exam cut off is different for different categories, including General, OBC, SC, and ST. The IIMC cut off marks for SC and ST categories is usually lower than the cut off for General category.

The Common Univerisity Entrance Test (CUET PG) declares the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) entrance exam result in PDF format on its official website. The IIMC result is released as per the merit list consisting of the name, roll number and rank of the qualified candidates. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the counselling process post which they will be alloted the institues and the courses.

Once the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) results are declared a merit list will be prepared for each course and shortlisted candidates as per the merit list will be called in for the second round of the admission process at IIMC which is the counselling process. As per the counselling, candidates will be alloted the institute and the courses.
