Yes, Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication has a counselling room where the mental health and well-being of students are taken care of. No, Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC) admissions are not merit-based. Students wishing to join the institute need to appear for the entrance test i.e., SET conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) followed by an online Personal Interaction. However, qualifying the last examination (Class 12) is also mandatory. The detailed SCMC Pune admission criteria can be found at the institute's official website.

Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC) selection criteria is entrance-based. The institute admits students based on the score secured in the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). The test is conducted by the SIU. Once the entrance test results are out, students who get selected need to appear for the Personal Interaction round which is held online. It is important that students clear all components/ rounds to make it to the final merit list.
