You can go for media management, event management, journalism and mass communication, photography, public relation or advertising related courses. Apart from this, you may apply in international relations courses, editing courses and many more.

70% marks are good enough to take admission in this course. However, if you are looking for a government college, then you need to score above 90% marks, because that's what their cut off is. But, the private colleges and institutes conduct an entrance exam to analyse your general knowledge and language skills. The minimum percentage required is 50%.

You may opt for M.J. M. C. course which includes TV Journalism. Don't go for PG Diploma courses. Apart from doing the course, you should start searching for jobs of News Anchoring if you have camera friendly look, good voice and command over language.

Mass Communication is a subject that requires a student or a professional to be a knowledgeable person. As it is considered one the best college of Delhi which is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and was found in 2005. It is fee structure, placement, training session are all good. These are the following media houses where the students have gone for summer training/internship - BBC world, IBN 7, Aaj Tak, India TV, Amar Ujala, star news, CNN, Navbharat Times etc. Students have also been placed there. The requirement for the admission in this college is passing class 12th (any stream with English as a subject) with 50% (General) and 45% (SC/ST). Arwachin is mostly known for its business programs.

After your completion of Masters in media Science, you may go in the following fields as per your interest. These are - animation field, sound engineer, radio jockey, script writer for any television or radio show, anchor, news reader, advertising head, production head, public relation officer, photographer, traveler, you may even indulge in documentary shoots, etc. The places where you may get placement may likely to be any newspaper organisation- Amar Ujala, Navbharat Times, Hindustan Times, Times Of India, etc. ,. .

Institute of Professional Studies, Meerut offers 3 years programme, with distance/correspondence. Students must have cleared 10+2 (any stream) with 50% marks aggregate with English as a subject. Whereas Technia Institute of Advanced Studies too offers 3-year B.J. M. C. programme with same eligibility criteria. No doubt it is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University but it does not provide the facilities to the students. As per my knowledge both the colleges are not good for pursuing the course of journalism and mass communication because the help and facilities that should be provided are not the up to the mark. It offers 3-year full time programme of Bachelor in journalism and mass communication. One must apply and register for the course and then he/she will get selected on the basis of a small interview and 12th marks. The student must have cleared 12th with 50% marks in any stream.
