Yes, Galgotias conducts it's own entrance exam for admission, but if you have more than 80% marks in boards, then you get a direct call for admission, merit based forms are also available at the admission portal visit college website for more information.

The entrance test will evaluate you on general knowledge, current affairs, communication trends and general English language proficiency. Advertising students will additionally be evaluated on latest trends in the industry.

Hi,
You will need to pursue a Diploma or degree in journalism. As you wish to pursue a short term course, a Diploma would be better. You can refer https://www.shiksha.com/mass-communication-media/journalism/colleges/diploma-courses-india.

For admission in any institute, you need to have all your previous academic mark sheets without which admission won't be possible.

Hi,
The admission process is not mentioned on the official website of the institute. It would be wise to call the college directly for the information http://www.nimsbbsr.ac.in/contactus.php

Your scores are not bad, but could you mention your percentile, so that I can suggest you some colleges. Also, give your Academic Scores and I would suggest you to apply to maximum colleges now (wherever you are eligible) to maximize your selection chances if you want to do an MBA this year itself.
