BA Mass Communication is a 3-year undergraduate course in journalism and mass communication. The basic eligibility needed to be fulfilled for applying to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream, completed from a recognised educational board. BA Mass Communication covers the study of constituents of mass media such as newspapers, magazines, cinema films, radio, television, the mechanism of conveying information to a mass-audience.
BA Mass Communication graduates are hired as Columnist, TV Correspondent, Correspondent, Writer, Fashion Photographer, Photojournalist, Production Worker, Film Director, Public Relations Officer, Radio Jockey (RJ), Video Jockey (VJ), Screenwriter, Reporter, Sound Technician, etc.
The course fees may be Rs 20,000 to 6 lakh depending on the institutions and universities.
