As of February 24, 2025, Tezpur University has not officially announced the specific dates for postgraduate (PG) counseling for the 2025-26 academic session. The counseling schedule is typically released after the entrance examinations and the publication of merit lists.

For the 2025 admissions cycle, the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs (CUET-PG) is scheduled to take place from March 13 to March 31, 2025. 

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results, which are also considered for certain PG programs, are expected to be announced on March 19, 2025.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of mentioned at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognised board.
