For admission into SACS MAVMM Engineering College UG/PG the requirements include 10+2 with at least 50% marks and mathematics as a subject for the UG stream, a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks and the candidate must have a background in engineering for the PG stream. For UG the JEE/TNEA scores are essential and for PG GATE/TANCET scores are mandatory. For UG/PG courses at S.D. College of Engineering and Technology, eligibility criteria are as follows: UG courses need at least 45% marks in 10 + 2 provided Physics, Maths and chemistry with 40% for SC/ST categories. JEE Main ranking is also given importance. For admission in PG courses, candidates should have 50% marks in graduation and for SC/ST, it is 45%.
