You need a 10+2 pass with Physics, Mathematics, and a third subject (Chemistry/Biology/Biotech/IT), securing at least 45% (50% for Maharashtra candidates) and a valid JEE Main or MHT CET score. All India applicants typically need JEE Main, while Maharashtra residents can use MHT CET. Apply through Maharashtra DTE's Centralized Admission Process and attend CAP counselling. For lateral entry, a Diploma or B.Sc. with ?50% (45% for reserved categories) is accepted, followed by CAP counselling. No direct or management quota admissions are available—selection is entirely merit and entrance exam-based.

To get into Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, candidates must qualify NEET-UG for MBBS or NEET-PG/NEET-SS for postgraduate and super-specialty courses.
