A score of 386 in MAT is not enough to qualify for admission to the BIT Mesra MBA program. The admissions are done considering valid scores from entrance tests such as MAT, group discussion performance, and personal interview performance. Historically, a cut-off score of more than 400 to 500 is competitive for BIT Mesra. Therefore, though a score of 386 may be considered, it is probably too low for a strong application. For a better chance of getting admitted, candidates may take the MAT again to get a higher score or look for other colleges with lower cutoffs.
