Many factors determine how easy it is to get admitted to Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics. The minimum requirement to be eligible for getting an admission is a pass in Class 12 with Mathematics as one of the subjects. But that does not guarantee an admission to the course at JMC. The admission is  based on CUET scores of the applicants. Depending on the number of programme seats and the number of students choosing Jesus and Mary College for BSc (Hons) as their preferred college, the cut-off for admission to the course will change.

Although it is not compulsory to have studied Mathematics as a subject in Class 11-12 level to apply for a BSc in Biotechnology course, students should have pursued the Science stream and studied Biology as a core subject.

The minimum eligibility requirement for BSc Biotechnology is to pass Class 10 and 12 with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as core subjects, with min 50% overall (45% for SC/ST candidates), and 60% in each core subject.

As it is a BSc course, unlike BTech students who have done PCM or PCB in Class 12 are eligible for admission.
