The minimum percentage required for pursuing B.Ed in Mathematics is 50% aggregate marks in a particular stream. Also, it is advisable that the candidate must have studied Mathematics in his School and College level education which will make it easier for him to become a professional Mathematics teacher and also pursue this course properly.

In the case of M.Sc. Mathematics in the Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, entrance exams of the 2025 26 session were conducted on July 15 th July 19, 2025. Results of these examinations were announced on 22 July 2025. The M.Sc admissions generally utilized one to two months which was June 12 to July 12, 2025 and admit cards were issued 9 to 10 July 2025. Counselling and fee payment dates shall be after the results, where classes are expected to start in the month of August 2025, around August 1, 2025.

However, your CUET PG score of 116 is unlikely to be sufficient for admission, as the cutoff scores for general category students can range up to 233, It is recommended to check the official CUJ website and the official CUET PG website for the most up-to-date information on cutoff scores, admission procedures, and eligibility criteria for the B.Ed. Mathematics program.

For M.Sc Mathematics admissions in NITs, the entrance exam is typically IIT JAM, not JEE Mains.

You particularly have to give IIT JAM for M.Sc.
