The eligibility for M.Sc maths is that you must have a Bachelor's degree in science with maths as the main subject. and also appear for the entrance exam of Reva University.

1. Mathematics
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
4. Any Other
Admissions take place on the basis of merit followed by the interview.

The requirement for an hons. Background will depend on the college and the course you are taking up for M.Sc. There is no general rule for the requirement of hons. For further study. Although you may check the same for colleges you want to apply for.
