This is because the BBA course offered in DU is completely different from the BBA offered in other universities like IP University or Jamia Milia Islamia, etc. In DU, they offer BBA in the form of BMS, BBE and BFIA which require analytical and inclination towards finance and numbers. Thus, with maths as an eligibility criterion, it'll be easier for students to cope up with the curriculum.

The minimum eligibility to pursue this course is a Bachelors (Honors) in Mathematics or Bachelors degree with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised institution
some of the reputed university demand 50% in graduation (any course) but they conduct entrance for M.A. in maths.

Sorry to say but you would not be able to enroll for M.Sc in mathematics in Netaji Subhas Open University.
The candidate must have completed graduation degree with mathematics as honours subject.
The candidate must have completed graduation degree from any recognized university and must have studied at least 300 marks in mathematics and secured at least 55% marks in mathematics are eligible.
