Maths is a must need for every IT courses. You should have pursued mathematics in high school in order to be eligible for admission into B.Tech but in BCA you can get admission even without maths in +2. If you are weak then I highly recommended you to start studying maths and put in extra effort in order to get good. You should even get coaching classes for mathematics also, because maths is highly recommended for programming.

Yes, a majority of colleges will provide you admission without any problem but there are some top/popular universities which will not be able to get you admission into BCA. So, search for those universities which will provide you admission and suits your budget.

Yes, students from non-mathematical background too can pursue BCA. There are some state universities which provides admission to non-mathematical students, colleges like IMS, IPEM, ITS provides admission to such candidates. The general eligibility criteria is that a candidate must score atleast 45% in their +2. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA.

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised state or central board with at least 50% (40% to 45% for reserved category candidates) of the marks with physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology as the major subjects of study. In some colleges they required Maths for admission. Thanks!

Hi Rahul, Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board or institution to opt for B.Tech. Computer Science course. Every college is different and their admission process varies accordingly. Some universities may accept maths as an additional subject it is advisable to get in touch with the college officials for detailed information. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/exams/jee-main

Yes, you can become a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya for PGT post, if you have a B TECH degree in Computer Science and more than 60% aggregate in it. Branches other than computer Science are not eligible for applying the post. For that, you have to look after the posts posted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan. After clearing the exam conducted, you will be eligible to teach students of class 11th and class 12th subjects related to Computer Science. Note: One disadvantage for B.Tech student is that even if they are selected they will not be promoted further as they wouldn't have a B.Ed degree.
