B.Sc. Does not considered is very tough even in mathematics because we have engineering courses too. If you regularly follow the classes and practice the problems then B.Sc. In mathematics would not be tough for you. As per the sources or experts say It depends upon the capability of your efforts on the stream you choose and it doesn't matter whether you choose private or government is not required.

IIT Bombay provides the M.Sc. (Applied Statistics and Informatics) course which is a 2-year course and a student needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admitted to the course.
