Hello Nitin, you have asked really interesting and relevant query. But unfortunately the answer is not in one word. When any establishment issues advertisement for vacancies, at that time they will give out eligibility for the prospective candidates to apply. If in your case the advertisement States post graduation in mathematics then you will not be eligible but if it states post graduation in mathematics or any Science subject or graduation in engineering then only you would be eligible. The eligibility criteria of BCA of Amity University Mumbai is given below.
Eligibility criteria : 10+2 with Maths / Computer Sc. / Information Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application.
So Maths is not compulsory for BCA here, Because If you have studied any subjects as mentioned in eligibility criteria can be eligible.
