Combination of Subjects for Best of Four
B.Com. (Hons. )
50% or more marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics
1. An aggregate of 60% or more in English/Hindi and a combination of three best among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/ Commerce.
2. Inclusion of any subject other than mentioned above from List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate, with a maximum net deduction of 2%.
3. Inclusion of any subject other than List B in the combination of the best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four. B.Com.

Business analyst plays a crucial role within any organisation, it can still be considered in its infancy stage. Only because the expectations that an organisation has, or the job description of every organisation for a business analyst is unique, obviously with a few common factors. It can be easily put that a Business Analyst always works, or performs their set of tasks and techniques in liaison with the stakeholders, so that they can understand the policies, procedures, and operations of an organisation, and base their recommended solution for process improvement, with the intention of assisting the organisation to reach its business goals in an effective and efficient manner.The role of a business analyst, initially came into existence to bridge the gap and aid smooth functioning between IT and other business functions. However, over the years the role of a business analyst has transitioned from or is not only restricted to IT solutions but has progressed into assisting the organisation, find solutions in a more holistic manner so that its goals can be achieved. The role of a business analyst thus encompasses a wide range of responsibilities.

In 12th grade, if you have not opted for mathematics, then also there is no issue because the good university like LPU start with the basics of the subjects considering the diversity of the student. Moreover, 12th grade mathematics is different and little tougher than business mathematics because business mathematics is bit an application instead of derivation in mathematics. In addition to this Logical Reasoning and Statistics is not related with the Mathematics for grade 12. I recall, one of my friend also faced the same situation but when she joined LPU, all the concepts were started from the scratch and she didn't face any issue. Rest if you can manage to keep Mathematics in grade 12, you can opt for it.
