As per the Eligibility Criteria, an applicant must have a Bachelors degree (of at least 3-year duration) in any discipline and have passed the 12th standard examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Selection of candidates to this programme will be based on performance in written tests and subsequent interview. The written admission tests will comprise multiple-choice and short answer type questions in both Economics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level.

You should refrain from opting it. You should choose your stream wisely after 10th. Many students come under pressure from parents and friends and end up choosing a stream which doesn't suit them. If commerce and it's subjects suit your interest, you should choose it. It offers a wide range of options to you in future. If biology has your interest, you can opt for medical too.

The course you choose does not depend on the high or low salary, it totally depends on your interest. Moreover, whichever course your pursue, will provide you job with minimum salary in the beginning but later on you will surely get a good pay as per your work performance.

Major universities insist mathematical background for BCA Course. The eligibility followed by majority universities for BCA programme is - HSc with Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Application as a subject of study. Same is the eligibility for B.Sc-Computer Science and IT Programs. I am holding graduation in both BCA and BBA and also PG in Computer Science and Management. So I can help you in detail. I did my first graduation in BCA and later second degree in BBA. The papers / syllabus are same as B.Sc. Computer Science and IT. There are two maths papers in BCA and B.Sc.
