Once you join the college through common entrance test or by management quota, you will get admitted to 2nd year as lateral entry. So, you will have M1, M2, M3, M4 subjects. You need to pass all these subjects in upcoming respective semesters.

So far my knowledge goes, you can pursue M.Sc Math in some Institute after doing B.Tech Mechanical. For example, Chennai Mathematical Institute allows B.Tech /BE for doing M.Sc Math. They also allow B.Sc Math/B.Math/B.Stat. For M.Sc Maths, you can visit their site for confirmation. Best wishes.

If you have a mark sheet with the average percentage not including Maths, then you can apply for admissions. But, the course should be a PCB one. So, apply for higher studies, you need to ensure that you have your mark sheet, so that you don't face any problem at later stages.

First, start researching on different universities, what their eligibility criteria is, how much marks they seek, how much IELTS score is required, deadlines, fees, scholarships etc. Most of them require 75% and above in class 12th. Everything is mentioned on university websites, you can also email them for inquiries. There are many universities in Canada and it is difficult to name just one. You can look up the NET. Simon Fraser University, McMaster University, University of British Columbia, University of Waterloo are some of the famous ones. Begin this first step and eventually start applying after selecting the universit

Yes, you can opt for chemistry honours but please visit to the respective university/ college to check their eligibility criteria. And yes, there are many college who offer chemistry honours without maths.
