The paper is objective type only. The syllabus is of class 11th and 12th only. No negative marking is there.

Hello sir/maam,
It is possible to opt for genetic engineering or biotechnology courses without having Maths in class 12th. You should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology with decent marks to get enrolled for undergraduate course in biotechnology. Genetic engineering doesn't involve a lot of Math in it. However, when you pursue engineering, there will be some common subjects where you have to deal with math too. But, the core subjects will be related to biology and chemistry. If your question is about getting into the field itself, then I don't think that not having a Math background will be a problem at any point.

Hi there,
With that stream in class 12th, your options for mathematics become limited as majority of courses require PCM in 12th. However, if you like number you may go with accounting courses.

Hi Kaushiki, Poor is a subjective word! So I am not in the position of judging how good or bad is your marks! Anyway, for BMS BBA course one must have Maths or Business Maths in 10+2 level. And in that paper one has to get min. 55% or 60%. If you get more than that particular cut off marks which is subject to change, you can apply. The rest can be recovered by doing good in the admission test. All the best.
