The minimum eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programme at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised institution. Candidates should have studied Biology and Chemistry at 10+2. Additionally, candidates must have Urdu as a subject/language or as a Medium in 10th/12th level or equivalent Madrasa courses with Urdu as medium of Instruction approved by MANUU

Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Ed at Maulana Azad National Urdu University: 

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s DegreeinSciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55%marks or anyotherqualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. Maulana Azad National Urdu University has 120  seats for MBA  courses  offered in different specialisation and  you have to meet all eligibility criteria and clear there entrance exam conducted by the University. So  maximum of 120 students can do MBA course.It is one of the best  Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998.

The admissions are done based on the merit in the Entrance test conducted by the University . Depending upon scores and no. Of students  appeared for entrance exam ranks are calculated. As of 2023- 24 a student name  Ikhalaq Hussain of ST category have rank 307 have last rank in first provisionaly selected student list and 141 rank was last rank in female general category.
