Candidates with a valid bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university and a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible for admission to the course. The applications of only the eligible candidates are considered during the admission process. At the time of application form filling and admission confirmation, the UG degree and mark sheets have to be provided along with other important documents for verification purposes.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing Masters degree in Business Administration at PUMBA is possession of undergraduate degree with minimum 50 percent in any discipline from any recognised college. Students aspiring to pursue MBA at PUMBA should appear for common aptitude test (CAT), CMAT or MH- CET. On the basis of cutoffs, students get admitted followed up by counselling process.

The candidates who have passed Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) or Masters Degree Examination of the Bangalore North University or any other recognised University, in any subject, in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Science, Sciences, Engineering/Technology or equivalent and have secured not less than 50% of marks (45% for SC), they are generally eligible for MBA at SJES Education Institutions. 

Candidates must have appeared in CAT, MAT, CMAT to get admissions in SJES Education Institutions, so they can secure a seat in SJES Education Institutions for MBA.

The eligibility criteria for MBA at VTU Belgaum includes:

  • A valid score in Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT or ATMA.
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation from any recognised university.

There shall be an Entrance Examination (PGCET) for admission to the MBA programme at VTU Belgaum. A candidate seeking admission to MBA Programme offered in any of the Engineering Colleges affiliated with VTU shall appear for this Examination.
