One need to be minimum graduate with 45% or 50%.It is better to have studied BBA / BBA LL.B / B.Com/ B.A ( Economics). Graduate from any discipline can opt for this.

Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline with aggregate marks from recognized universities and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/ 12th/ UG degree.

IMU Kolkata admission to all the programmes is conducted through the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) Only unmarried candidates, up to the age of 25 years are eligible to apply for BTech programme. Candidates seeking admission to Marine programmes are strongly recommended to have a passport.
