The people must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% average. For all those who fall into the SC/ST subgroups, there is a 5% deduction.
The selection will be done based on valid CMAT scores and DTE rules. Students who haven't appeared for the CMAT exam can also apply and will be summoned for college-level rounds of counseling if any vacant seats are available.

Admission to MBA at IIM Calcutta is based on merit in CAT exam followed by performance in other selection rounds. Only aspirants with a valid CAT score are eligible for admission. The weightage for each selection round is mentioned below:

For admission to IIM Kolkata MBA, candidate must hold a valid bachelor's degree in 10+2+3 pattern with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Moreover, the aspirants appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree with final year results awaiting, are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates, if selected, are granted provisional admission, only if the pre-final certificate signed by competent authorities of the previous institute/ university, the latest by June 30 of the admission year is submitted.

A pass in bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for the MBA course. The minimum aggregate is not specified for MBA International. Additionally, candidates need to pass CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ Amity Test followed by a Skype Interview in lieu of a personal appearance at the campus.
Aspirants with at least 70 percentile for CAT/ MAT are eligible for direct admission and stand exempted from the entrance exam. Only GD & PI will be conducted for eligible candidates.

Where minimum 50% marks taken consideration and also the students need to under go entrance test where students must score pass marks .

Candidates need to pass bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates) to apply for the Alliance University MBA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Apart from fulfiling the qualifications, candidates also need to pass NMAT, CAT, Alliance-MAT, KMAT or NMAT, NMAT, KMAT or GMAT for admission to MBA course followed by Oral Extempore Presentation and personal interview. The school also considers the academic performance of the aspirants for providing admission.
