The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya programme is:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- Valid score in one of CAT/MAT/CMAT or university's own entrance exam.
- At least 2 years of full-time post-qualification executive/supervisory work experience in a relevant field for candidates applying for a part-time MBA. Not required for full-time.

The minimum eligibility requirements for the MBA program at Eminent College of Management and Technology (ECMT) in Barbaria, Kolkata include a bachelor degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwD categories.
