- Valid score on entrance exams such as WBJEE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA.

A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent must have been earned by the student, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% for candidates from reserved categories) or higher. A minimum of three years of education must be completed following higher secondary school (10+2) for the candidate to receive a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification. Any of the following national-level entry exams—CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, and XAT—must be passed with distinction.
It is generally advised to aim for above 80th percentile on recognised tests such as CAT or MAT for greater chances of being invited for the GD & PI and being shortlisted

The following is the minimum criteria for taking admission in MBA at Lingaya's Vidyapeeth:-
- The student need to have at least 50 percent in graduation from a recognised university.
- The students need to have a valid score in the entrance exams which are accepted by the Institute ( CAT, MAT, CMAT).
The students have to qualify in the entrance exam as well as the cut off in order to take admission. The cut off will be released by the Institute according to the seat intake and applications. The seat intake for MBA is 258. So students need to prepare for the exams accordingly.

The following are the MBA eligibility requirements at MDU CPAS:
- Graduation from the applicable programme with a minimum grade point average of 45.
- Candidates with previous job experience will be given preference.
- Candidates in their last year of study may apply for admission if they bring their degree pass certificate/mark sheet to the counselling session.
- Candidates for admission to the MBA (Executive) programme must be employed by a corporate entity, establishment, PSU, government body, or have their own business.
- A three-year Master's or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required.
