MBA Eligibility

The minimum eligibility for admission in the MBA programme of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised institute with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of reserved categories). The candidate has to pass the university-level entrance examination or appear for the other equivalent exams like CAT, MAT, and GMAT. Work experience is not mandatory; however, the fact does count for the selection criteria. Candidates may also be called for group discussions and personal interviews. The following are the requirements for admission to the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi's MBA program:

A bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or its equivalent from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for restricted categories) is the minimum educational requirement.

Eligibility Condition:

Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree from a recognised university of at least three years' duration with not less than 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

Entrance Exam: A score from any of the entrance exams, such as the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or MAH MBA CET, valid for the year.

Selection Procedure:

1. Application Form: Fill in the application form available on the SBS official website or at the admissions office.

2. Entrance Exam Score: Upload your valid entrance exam scores along with the application.

3. Document Verification: The CAP is conducted by the DTE, Maharashtra; document verification and CAP round registration are compulsory.

4. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Candidates selected are called for counseling based on their entrance and academic performance. The seats are allocated.

5. Final Admission: After the allocation of seats, students will have to fulfill the above formalities to secure their MBA seat through fee payment and other required documents.

VESIM maintained simple criteria for MBA admission for those candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC category). Candidates must also have appeared for any of the following entrance exams: MAT with a 400 composite score, CMAT with a 40 percentile, XAT 40 percentile MAH CET 40 percentile or CAT 40 percentile. Also, the candidate must complete at least 2 years of work experience (in the case of the Executive MBA program). The final decision-making involves a group discussion, personal interview and the student's performance in the entrance examination/academic achievement, where the weightage is divided as follows: Entrance examination marks 30%, academic achievement 20 %, group discussion 20 % and the final interview 30%.

The admission criteria for MBA programmes in The ICOAI University, Nagaland, are that a candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any field with 45% or above marks for general category students and 40% for SC/ST students. Any candidate with a bachelor's degree and/ or any other equivalent qualification and 3 years of work experience can also apply. Additionally, candidates must have a valid score in any of the following entrance exams: A CAT score of 40 percentile an MAT score of 400 composite, or XAT of 40 percentile or an ATMA of 40 percentile. Those who could not answer the above-said examination can write IUET, the ICFAI University Entrance Test.
