A period of 4-6 months should be sufficient for CAT. Over this time one needs to put in 3-4 hours of daily sincere effort. Self-study and joining of classes for preparation with a lot of doing of mock tests will help you to excel in CAT.

Hi Prajwal!
Here is the eligibility criteria for appearing for ATMA exam:
1. The candidate should hold a Bachelors degree or should have qualified in an equivalent examination under 10+2+3 scheme (any stream- BA, B.Tech, B.Com, B.Sc). It should be noted that only those candidates who have pursued a course from a University that is recognised by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India are eligible for the exam
2. Candidates who are in their final year of Graduation are also eligible for the exam

1. Check on the syllabus for open test
2. Start sharpening your basic skills in the respective areas
3. Appear for maximum mock tests in a real test environment
4. Join coaching classes to sharpen your skills/ you also have online modules available
5. Devote 2-4 hours of your daily time to sincere planned preparation for open test.

Admissions for many MBA colleges would be open now. You will have to check for the colleges not appearing for CMAT scorecards or check for the available seats even after the online admission procedure. Do check for the colleges in the city from where you would like to pursue your Masters.
