The cut off for general is 175 for HR. And, for Finance and marketing for Maritime Management, the cut off is 105.

MAT exam is held approximately four times in a year. So that, if anyone want to give MAT he/she can easily choose his best time to go for this exam. If you are searching for Top B Schools than this should not be a choice. If you give CAT and CMAT exams and after this you couldn't get good marks in it than you can definitely go for it. This exam will give you a decent college and the main benefit of giving MAT is that you would know about the exam strategy and can conclude your ability. MAT college are affiliated by AICTE and some of are good college that you can apply for.

You can apply to colleges which accept MAT scores. If you score well, you will definitely get a seat in a good college. The official brochure states the following eligibility criteria of TANCET MBA 2018:
Must hold a Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration from a recognised institution. A prospective test taker must have a minimum 50 percent of marks (45 per cent for reserved category) at the graduation level to be able to apply for the TANCET 2018 exam. Your CAT preparation will be sufficient for any entrance exam, but you have to know the format of the question paper. Go through the previous papers and also you can attempt NMAT for 3 times. So, even if you couldn't reach cut-off, you'll know your weak areas and prepare accordingly for next time.
