Hello,
Unfortunately, with just 68 percentile in CAT exam, it is impossible to get even a decent college for pursuing MBA. I suggest you to reappear for CAT this year and aim for a much better score (at least 85 percentile). Good luck.

Hi Abhijit, While a couple colleges like XLRI, XIMB, XIMR, GIM, etc. accept XAT scores, the cut-off solely on percentile is very high, i. e. a minimum of 85 percentile at least. The college that accepts the lowest in the XAT score range is BIMM, Pune at 55 percentile. I would suggest you to opt for other entrance tests and don't rely on your XAT scores completely.

Hi Ankit!
It depends on your interest if you want to make a career in management or banking. Unless MBA is pursued from a premier institution, I recommend you to join the Bank. If you got admission for MBA in a reputed university, it is undoubtedly the better option. Pursuing MBA in Finance will also give you a good career push and a better designation in a Bank and other financial institutions.

Sorry, you need to qualify your CAT exams to get admission in VIT Vellore because without examinations or entrance examination you cannot go for further studies in VIT Vellore. So please give exam, qualify that and then take admission.

Your NMAT score is average. As an MBA aspirant, you can seek region wise information through google. Looking for B-School in the East, Calcutta Business School is one of the best B-Schools having AICTE/NBA/AIU accreditation. Very few schools are there having all three. However, minimum 50% in graduation is required for applying in CBS. CBS offers a fee waiver of Rs. 1 Lac to 3 Lac as per the graduation results to all the deserving students.
