Yes, you can appear for MBA exam. You can sit for CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ IIFT/ SNAP and similar MBA entrance exams in the pre-final year of graduation. By June or July, candidates should try and complete the entire core CAT syllabus. The primary sections of CAT syllabus are Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. Thereafter, candidates can start focusing on speed-building, accuracy building and later on move to full-length mock tests, Candidates should look at finishing the entire CAT syllabus by August. They should not stretch the course till the very end.

Christ University has two sessions of selection process. One in January and one in March. You can apply for the March process after you get your MAT scores.
You don't have to choose the specialization at the beginning itself. That will be after you complete two trimesters.

You have a fair chance of getting a call for the WAT/PI process of VGSoM on basis of the 2017-19 selection criteria. If you have some work experience, it will improve your chances further.
Final selection into the program depends on you scores in WAT/PI coupled with your Application Rating (AR) scores.

Hi Siddharth,
Unfortunately one needs to give the SNAP test in order to be eligible for admission in SIBM Pune. SIBM doesn't accept any other exam scores for admission, including CAT.
