You are required to have a strong knowledge of it. A habit of regular newspaper reading and magazine reading will be a great advantage. Reading good books of GK such as GK yearbooks will provide good information. Due to its vastness, this section can be little challenging. There are few good colleges which do accept MAT scores and are reasonably priced and these are well reputed and offer you good ROI.
Some are Jamna Lal Bajaj, Sydhenm, KJ Somaiya, Welingkar, PUMBA, Indira and St. Xavier's, Mumbai.
But the only thing is that they consider a score above 96%ile in MAT exam.
Applications are accepted through Maharashtra-CET.
Packages of these colleges reach up to 10 LPA in the first 3 and 5-6 LPA and rest of the colleges.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) and the scores are used for admission to various MBA, PGDM and other related programs.
MAT is held four times in a year.
There are many colleges that accept MAT scores in India.
It is divided into 5 sections and there will be 40 questions in each section.
The questions are from the following sections:
1. Language Comprehension
2. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
