No, CAT is not compulsory to get admissions to MBA courses at COER University. Because the university also considers the relevant scores from theMAT/XMAT/COERU Entrance test, followed by GD and PI. Therefore, candidates with valid scores in CAT can get admissions to MBA at COER University. However, it is not compulsory that candidates can only get admission through CAT.

The NMIMS 2024 cutoff for the NMAT was a score of 248 for admission to the MBA/PGDM course. Hence, going by this score, we can say that the NMIMS cutoff 2026 might be somewhere around this score.
Although it is an estimated guess and the NMAT cutoff is subject to many factors, like difficulty level of the exam, previous year trend, seats available, etc.

For preparation of an exam like CMAT will always be helpful as you will be provided with relevant study material and guidance from industry experts. It will help you in disciplined and focused study as coaching centres have time bound classes, lectures, practice sessions, mock tests, etc. So, if you feel that you will not be able to stay dedicated and motivated enough in self-study to crack CMAT will high scores, join a CMAT coaching institute.

CMAT has five subjects – Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship and to cover all of them, one will need good enough time. Overall, 3 months are needed to cover syllabus of CMAT and about 2 to 3 months for practice and revision. So, overall 6 months are good for CMAT preparation.

CAT is not required for MBA admisson at AAFT University of Media and Arts. The university conducts its own in-house entrance exam AAFT GEE (AAFT Global Entrance Exam). It is an online aptitude test conducted by the AAFT University. Candidates are further required to appear in a personal interview with the AAFT Expert Desk (telephonic/video-conference/direct). However, candidates must have Bachelor's degree in any discipline before applying for the exam.

Yes, candidates can get admissions to the MMS course without CAT scores, because TIMSR Pune accepts different entrance examination scores according to the domicile of candidates. Therefore, for Maharashtra candidates, the institute accepts the valid scores from MAH-MBA/MMS-CET conducted by the DTE. Moreover, for other Indian students, the institute accepts the relevant scores from CAT/XAT/CMAT, etc. Hence, CAT can be considered as one of the entrance exams to get admission into MMS at TIMSR Pune. However, it is not compulsory.

Yes, candidates can get admission to the MBA course at Jaipur National University without CAT scores. Because the university accepts several other entrance examinations too for admission to MBA courses, such as XAT, CMAT, JNU CET, etc. Therefore, candidates can get admission to MBA courses with CAT scores, but it is not compulsory.

Preparing for an MBA in Tourism entrance exam takes a combination of strategy and efficient study. Start off by understanding which syllabus you are preparing for and the exam pattern. Focus on the subjects identified in the syllabus such as business, tourism management and general awareness. Develop your quantitative and reasoning skills by practicing. Read newspapers and magazines to keep up to date on current affairs as well as the tourism sector. Solve the last 5 - 10 years question papers to have an idea of the paper format.
