Hello! The registrations for both the exams haven't started yet. For CAT, it will begin from August first/second week whereas it will be January end/February first week for CET exam.

To be eligible for the interview rounds of any B-School, one must clear the necessary cutoff(s) of that B-School. Only then, one can expect to get shortlisted.

Sanjith, The Common Admission Test is a computer based test held in India. The test scores a candidate on the bases of Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The Indian Institutes of Management started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs. SOme private universities like Lovely, Chitkara, Mullana, etc offer admission to MBA on basis of MAT, XAT, CET, GMAT or their own tests too.

Hello,
Apologies for the late reply. On join coaching for CAT during your final college year, it will be a bit difficult to manage both your college studies and CAT preparation. Also various B-schools give significant weight age to your graduation score, so don't let CAT studies affect it. Rather you can take a year gap after your exams and study properly for it.
