You need to score a minimum of 85 percentile in CAT exam to get a call from FMS-BHU. Yes, it's a good institute for MBA with good ROI. MBA from IITs is cost-efficient. You can expect good placements too.

One year of gap year will not have any impact during campus placement of prestigious B-Schools after MBA. One or two years gap is always condoned by any recruiter.
All the best for CAT 2017.

Prepare well for CAT. Hard work is the only way to get a decent percentile in CAT. I would suggest you to join a coaching center and religiously follow their guidelines if you are not self motivated enough. Otherwise, get your basics right and then go for mocks for practice.

We as representatives of SPJIMR would always lobby for it for the kind of exposure it provides a candidate with and the innovative non-classroom based learning initiatives in the curriculum. Further, the placements have also been consistent in the last years. Please visit the following link to see the detailed placement report- https://www.spjimr.org/pgpm/placements#node-783.

Hello Prakhar, You have pretty good chances but the thing is that in Christ University, during the admission process, the weightage given to the entrance exam scores is only 30%, the rest depends on how you perform in the WAT/GD, extempore and PI. The total of all these scores carries a little bit of weightage thus prepare well and perform well in GD, and PI.

Hi Rohit,
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level management entrance examination. The test scores are used to get admission in various MBA, PGDM and allied management programmes. The exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). More than 600 B-schools accept MAT exam scores.
MAT is held four times in a year: February, May, September and December. Exam dates and other schedules are generally announced three months before the exam.
You can refer to the below-mentioned link for the complete details of MAT exam:

Atleast 50% is what you need for admission. But, your GD & PI matters a lot. Even if you have 1 marks you are eligible but you have to crack GD & PI.
