Coaching classes are not affordable by everyone. Financial reasons and time are two reasons why not everyone can attend classes. Preparation for CAT and other MBA exams should not be dependent on coaching classes.

Make sure you maintain a good score in your CAT/XAT mocks, especially focusing on the VA section. The next step in the process is the MICAT. This is a paper that does not require much preparation as it tests your creative and reasoning abilities for the most part

You need to be aware of current affairs. You can prepare certain topics and remember few facts, so that you can use them in many different places.
You can read about exports, international relations, etc. and use them appropriately, wherever possible. In GD, you should speak at least 2-4 times, but only when you actually have a point. You need to be confident.

Work experience is importance for getting a call and it solely depends on the cut-off.
Last year's cutoff was:-
CAT - 86 percentile/ CMAT - 96 percentile / XAT - 78 percentile
Chance are less but you can still give it a try.

We can't say anything for certain about the cutoffs come out. Last year CMAT cut-off was 92 percentile.
