BIMTECH does not accept MAT scores.For PGDM, only CAT and XAT scores are valid. MAT scores will be applicable for PGDM (RM) and PGDM (IBM).

If you are joining through MAT, there is no quota. Quota is applicable only if you join through TANCET in whose selection PSG has no role. PSG accepts scores above 600 but selection will also depend on your performance in GDPI round. Fee would be higher if you join through MAT. The specialization is usually chosen only after your 3rd semester. You can opt it then. Hope my answer helps you.

Some of the B-schools accepting MAT score are:
TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal,
ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior,
Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra,Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore and there are more.
To know what all B-school you can get with your percentile/score in MAT you can even try MAT pathfinder tool available online.

SIBM Pune shortlists candidates based on the percentile scores of SNAP Test. The cut-off for MBA I&E in SNAP 2015 was 66.23 percentile. The candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% in graduation to be eligible for shortlisting. The profile of the candidate is evaluated only during the GE-PI-WAT process which takes place post the shortlisting.
