GK and current affairs include economics, politics, geography, etc. Therefore, for the sake of economics you can go for Indian Economics by Dutt and Sundaram. You should follow CBSE books of 8th, 9th and 10th standard for geography and for politics you should regularly read newspapers and magazines.

No, as per last year's cuto-ff, MAT cut-off was 99.96.
