Yes, you can appear for CMAT, but it is preferred to give from your own state, examination will remain same across all the states.

There is no management Quota seats in IPE. Only through CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT Exams

Depending on the number of seats available after the first round of selection, there might be one more selection in 2017. Usually there is a second round of admission.

Hi,
CAT exam is not important for every B-school but top 10 B-schools do accept CAT score, apart from them you can appear for MAT , XAT, NMAT, SNAP or GMAT and then you can apply for MBA admission.

You can check the following colleges which are good enough to take admission:
- BIMTECH
- LBS
- JIMS, Rohini
- FORE
They all provide very good placements.
