No, CAT exam is not strictly required to take admission in MBA at Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology. The final selection is based on entrance exam. The institute accepts CUET PG for admission in MBA.

No, you cannot get into Symbiosis International, Pune, with a SNAP cutoff of 70 if you belong to the General AI category.

According to the 2024 cutoff, the required percentile was 97 for this category. Hence, students need to secure a percentile of 97 or above to qualify for the next round of admissions, which involves GD and PI. Students who clear this round get the admission offer letter. (if they have cleared all other requirements)

This is the cutoff for the General AI category and is based on an estimate. Hence, it's not official.

Yes, according to the GITAM School of Management MBA cutoff 2025 via the CAT entrance examination, you could get into this institute if you belong to the General AI category.

The aforementioned category had an estimated qualifying percentile of 70 in 2025. Admission for this category candidates may be possible if they clear the entrance exam, followed by the selection process, which involves GD and PI.

Note - This is an estimated cutoff and not official.

The SOM, BML Munjal University accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT and some other national level entrance exams for admission to MBA programme. These national level exams are generally considered moderately difficult as the competition is very high in these exams. While the university also accepts BMU entrance test, which is the internal entrance exam of the university. This exam is considered bit east in comparison to other exams.

Yes, admissions in MBA at AIM-Assam are possible without CAT. The institute accepts other exams like CMAT/MAT/XAT and ATMA. Students can appear for entrance and fill the application form on official website. The university selects students on the basis of merit. Selected students have to appear for GD and Personal Interview as a final round.

With an NMAT score of 209 (QA: 62, LR: 63, English: 84), here's how your chances look:

 NMIMS (Mumbai & Other Campuses)

  • NMIMS Mumbai (Flagship MBA):
    • Typical cutoff is 235–250+.
    • At 209, admission to Mumbai campus is unlikely.
  • NMIMS Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore, Dhule:
    • Cutoffs are lower (200–210+ range).
    • You have a realistic chance at these campuses, especially Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

 TAPMI (Manipal)

  • Accepts NMAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT.
  • Cutoff is usually 80+ percentile in CAT/XAT or 210+ NMAT.
  • With 209, you are borderline but competitive. Strong profile (academics, work ex, GD/PI) can help secure admission.
