Hi bidisha. yes GBS accepts CMAT score but am not sure about cut-off. However apart from entrance exam test score, GBS follows its own selection procedure

It always suggested to send your plain or attested copy of any document by any college or any firm, when you are applying in as a candidate.

you can apply for colleges in the ranking of 40 to 60.

Entrance exam scores are to set up eligibilty. They dont have much weightage as compared to GD-PI rounds, when it comes to selection. Also your acads and extra curriculars will matter. Also if you have work ex than it will matter too.
As for placements, college does handle the charges, but in some cases you might have to take care of charges yourself.

Very high entrance scores will always attract eyes, but it isnt always the case. The brighest student might not get high marks in exams. The entrance exam scores only are for establishing the eligibility criteria. The final selection will be based on GD-PI and the past acads record. As for the second part of the question, it might be true but again i have no much idea about it. CAT is considered the tougher exam among the 2, but each exam has its own way of evaluation. Good luck.
